January 8thConsumer Electronics Show 2019Las Vegas: Audio-Technica is introducing the next generation of its successful entry-level LP60 turntable series with the new quartet catering for the modern day vinyl enthusiast. Whether streaming vinyl wirelessly, digitising a record collection or listening through headphones, the AT-LP60XAT-LP60XUSBAT-LP60XBT and AT-LP60XHP deliver high-quality audio, alongside a compact and sleek profile – ideal when interior space is at a premium.

Developed and designed by the award-winning Audio-Technica team in Japan and boasting a completely refreshed design, the new models feature improved tracking and reduced resonance for a smoother sound. These fully automatic belt-driven turntables are also easy to use – just the press of a button will have vinyl records playing in seconds; switch between two speeds: 33 1/3 for long play albums and 45 RPM for singles and 12-inch records.

An onboard preamplifier with a switchable phono/line output allows easy connection to active powered speakers – a convenient audio system set-up for those with limited space – or a dedicated phono-enabled amp.

As a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 55 years, Audio-Technica has channeled its expertise into the range’s Dual Magnet™ AT3600L phono cartridge. Featuring a replaceable diamond stylus, the cartridge is integrated into the headshell for an assured performance and simple setup.

Elsewhere a dedicated AC adapter handles AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis, reducing noise in the signal chain for a cleaner sound. All models arrive with an exclusive black Audio-Technica slipmat, a 45 RPM adapter for playing 7-inch singles and a removable single dust cover.
