The low-profile AT4022 omnidirectional condenser recording mic is outstanding for piano, acoustic guitar, and other acoustic instruments. With a flat, extended frequency response and wide dynamic range ideal for critical studio and live applications, the AT4022 handles high SPLs with ease. The microphone’s omnidirectional polar pattern preserves the “sound” of the recording location, delivers flat response and freedom from proximity effect. Its low-mass diaphragm improves transient response and reduces handling/mechanical noise transfer.
With its omnidirectional polar pattern and flat frequency range, the AT4022 is perfect for capturing acoustic instruments. Its wide dynamic range allows it to be equally at home on stage, in the studio.
The microphone’s omnidirectional polar pattern preserves the “sound” of the recording location, delivers flat response and freedom from proximity effect.
Its low-mass diaphragm improves transient response and reduces handling/mechanical noise transfer. Furthermore, with its sound pressure maxim being between 146dB and 156dB (with the attenuator pad), it is also the perfect choice for capturing drums, and other percussion instruments.
The AT4022 features a 80Hz low-cut filter and a switchable -10dB attenuator pad to increase the versatility of the microphone.
Solid reliability and a consistency in sound quality are among the highlights of the AT4022.
The AT8405a shock mount that comes with the AT4022 is also be suitable for all cylindrical microphones with a diameter of 21mm.
The AT4022 fits neatly into its very own rigid carry case with room for the shock mount and windscreen too.
