A system was needed that had high quality audio and could be moved to a variety of different locations that included inside historic buildings, outside open-air events and in certain critical areas where the environment included a lot of reverberation. The ATUC-50 discussion system was selected due to its reliable, high quality audio that reduced background and unwanted noise, easy of use and simple setup. The feedback suppression was very important in critical situations, and the quality and loudness of the speaker in an open air and the adjustable gain control was essential in open air environments. The ATUC-50 was also used for interpretation.
