With its ergonomically molded earpiece and unobtrusive one-inch boom, Audio-Technica’s BP893 MicroEarset offers inconspicuous placement along with clear, natural vocal pickup. Its lightweight low-profile design makes the microphone ideal for use in theatrical performances, houses of worship and broadcast studios.
The BP893 MicroEarset is positioned unobtrusively over the ear. Its omnidirectional miniature condenser capsule offers outstanding pickup tailored for natural vocal reproduction, with audio reproduction similar to that of a high-quality lavalier microphone. The microphone is also ideal for use in violin pickup; wear the BP893 over the ear as usual, with no need for clamps on the violin. The lockable 3.5mm mini-jack connector on the BP893cLM3 plugs straight into Sennheiser® wireless pocket transmitters.
With its ultra light weight of 2g and a capsule diameter of 2.6mm, the BP893cLM3 ear-worn microphone is one of the lightest and most discreet microphones of its type on the professional audio market. It sits comfortably on the earlobe, and the extremely unobtrusive one-inch flexible boom sits discreetly over the face, with the 2.6mm pinhead capsule at the end.
The omnidirectional electret capsule provides a clear and natural voice reproduction, similar to that of a high-quality lavalier microphone. Its sleek design makes it ideal for use in theatre, places of worship and broadcast studios.
Parylene is a transparent semi crystalline polymer film, recognized for its thermodynamic stability, high resistance to solvents and low permeability. The BP893cLM3 is therefore easy to clean, and the acidity of the skin will not alter its appearance.
The transparent parylene coating on the BP893cLM3 guarantees very easy routine maintenance.
At barely bigger than a pinhead, the BP893cLM3 omnidirectional capsule delivers a natural and intelligible sound.
The BP893cLM3 comes with a cable clip, two windscreens, two capsule protections and protection against moisture.
The BP893cLM3 comes with a 3.5mm lockable connector on a 1.4m long shielded cable, for Sennheiser® wireless systems.
