1. I have a technical question about an Audio-Technica product.

2. My Audio-Technica product is malfunctioning, what can I do?
First, you should consult your instruction manual to see if any advice is provided for the problem you are experiencing. You may also want to contact our Technical Support department to ensure you are using your product correctly (see contact details in question 1).
When in doubt, please visit your dealer who will examine your equipment and if necessary, return it to us on your behalf.
If you are unable to return your product to your local dealer, please contact the Service Centre in the UK who will issue you with a Returns Authorisation (RA) number (9.00am to 5.00pm Mon - Fri) by one the following methods:

Customers based outside the UK should contact their local authorised Audio-Technica representative.
To facilitate the service of your equipment, please ensure the RA number is clearly marked on the outside of the package and on all correspondence. Also, include full address and contact telephone number, nature of the fault and proof of purchase for warranty purposes.
Product returned for repair without proof of purchase will be treated as out of warranty and class subsequently classed as a chargeable repair.
The warranty excludes defects due to normal wear, abuse, shipping damage or failure to use product in accordance with the instructions. The warranty is void in the event of unauthorised repair or modification, or removal or defacing of product labelling.

Ensure that a copy of the purchase receipt and your warranty card are enclosed and that accessories not related to the repair are retained.
3. My 2 year warranty has expired. Can I still send my product in to be serviced?
Of course you can. Please follow the same instructions as in question 2. We will provide you with a cost estimate for the repair by mail, e-mail or fax.
Please note: should you choose not to proceed with repairs once the item is at our Service Centre and has been inspected, we can return your item unrepaired at a cost of £20.00 inc VAT (£15 labour + £5 carriage).
4. What is covered by the 24 month warranty?
Please refer to our warranty information. The warranty does not cover misuse, accident, neglect or fair wear and tear. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
5. How much will the repair cost?
The charges for out of warranty repairs are as follows:
Labour (£40.00) + Parts + Carriage (£5.00) for wireless(R.F.) products
Labour (£30.00) + Parts + Carriage (£5.00) for wired microphones
Labour (£30.00) + Parts + Carriage (£5.00) for headphones
Repairs are guaranteed for 90 days for the same fault.
6. How long will it take to repair my item?
We endeavour to turn around repairs within 5 working days. During busy periods it may take longer, but we try to keep the turnaround time to a minimum.
7. What will happen if it is not possible to repair my item?
If the repair is under warranty then we will replace it free of charge. Otherwise, we can offer you a replacement product at a discounted price if it is due to a manufacturing defect.
8. Can I order spare parts for my Audio-Technica product?
Yes - for some products we are able to sell spare parts. For customers based in the UK, please contact our Service Centre by one of the following methods:
