16 February 2010 - Audio-Technica BP896 Subminiature Lavalier at Broadcast Video Expo 2010
Audio-Technica’s smallest lavalier offering to date, the BP896 Subminiature Omnidirectional Condenser Lavalier Microphone makes its UK debut at BVE2010. Intended for capture of high-quality audio with unobtrusive profile, the BP896 provides maximum intelligibility and clean, accurate reproduction for broadcasters, lecturers, church/house of worship users, actors and presenters. The BP896 capsule measures a mere 2.5 mm in diameter, making it ideal for applications requiring minimum visibility. The microphone operates on phantom power and includes a complete accessory kit. The BP896 is available in black and beige wired and wireless models. The wireless offerings include a multitude of terminations designed to work with Audio-Technica and other manufacturers' wireless systems.
16 February 2010 - Audio-Technica Windshields To Launch at BVE2010
Audio-Technica will launch a brand new range of broadcast and production-oriented windshields at BVE2010. The Soft-Zep, Whisper Series and Fur Windsock lines offer a choice of windshields suitable for a variety of working conditions and budgets.
For the most demanding situations, the super light Soft-Zeps provide maximum protection against normal to extreme wind noise for hand-held, stand-mount and boom-mounted microphones. The one-size-fits-all design accommodates mics between 19mm and 24mm in width and a choice of medium, large or extra-large types is available to suit shotgun microphones of different lengths.
